Dear Lori,
I could go on and on about Dixie for days, but I'll try to keep it brief.
Not only is Dixie special because she came from you, my great friend, she is an awesome dog.
Dixie has been a wonderful addition to our family. From the moment she got here she has brought us so much joy.
She is as smart as a whip. Training her was never a problem. She shakes, gives "high five", speaks and lays
down with minimal training from us. There were some hairy moments when she went through her "teenage years" but that
is true with many dogs and from what I've heard, most Doodles. Perseverance and patience have paid off for us 10-fold.
It seemed like one day someone flipped a switch and she morphed into this perfect creature.
She is affectionate, loyal and extremely tolerant. With the exception of a few little toys the kids left laying
around, she has never chewed or destroyed anything except her rawhides. She cuddles with the kids and goes along with
any game they want to play. Last week she was walking around the house in one of Krystina's old ballet costumes.
It was hilarious. She didn't mind a bit.
Her Veterinarian loves her. She sits like a Trooper for anything he needs to do to her. The whole office
staff gets excited when I bring her in.
She loves other dogs. She has playmates ranging in size from a big ole' Coonhound to 2 Shih-Tzu's and is perfect
with all of them.
She is 1 1/2 years old and I haven't had her groomed yet. She sheds, but if I keep her brushed well it minimizes
it quite a bit.
I have found (quite by accident) 2 of Dixie's littermates...Bailey and Gus. I've talked to thier owners and
they echo my sentiments. Both told me what wonderful dogs they have and how pleased they are with them. We're
looking forward to hooking up for a little "Sibling Playtime"
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You a million times over for her..
